Our Kindergarten program consists of resource rich classrooms that follow the BC curriculum. It is an inquiry and play based program which allows students not only to learn the BC curriculum but have fun doing so! Kindergarten students are actively engaged throughout their school day with a variety of activities including yoga, DPA, music, French and Punjabi classes.
Students in our program are given instruction in English and are exposed to weekly Punjabi and French classes throughout their school year. Our school is heavily literacy focused which allows AV天堂 students to strive in reading, and oral and written language.
Our Middle School program is designed to enhance student learning through the development of key academic skills such as reading, writing and numeracy. Our aim is to ensure students receive a well-rounded education, through the implementation of the Curricular Competencies set by the BC Ministry of Education.
Our multiple after school clubs allow AV天堂 students to explore a multitude of skills sets, from athletics to culinary experiences. Our qualified teachers strive to ensure our students gain life long experiences and set the foundation for a successful secondary experience at AV天堂.
Our secondary school programs are designed to prepare students to meet graduation requirements and help them enroll in programs of their interest in post secondary institutes. Our secondary staff follows the revised BC curriculum in various Ministry of Education approved courses.
AV天堂 Secondary programs are well balanced to cater to student interest in various subject areas such as Sciences, Business, Applied Design, and Technology. We create a well-balanced and well-rounded program which sets the foundation for post secondary success.
Since our first class in 1986 of 11 students, the AV天堂 alumni community has grown strong in our 30 plus year. In seeking their passion, this remarkable group of individuals are making a difference in the world.
AV天堂 School Alumni are employed or studying in diverse fields all over the globe and giving back locally and internationally. They are life-long learners with knowledge and confidence, integrity and character, and we are proud of everything they continue to achieve.
